Two reports is a quiet week by the neighborhood's recent pattern. In the weeks that followed, theft from parked cars and auto theft picked up along the same corridors: the 1500 block of Lagoon Avenue alone surfaced repeatedly in the city data through May, and the Hennepin and Girard avenue blocks recurred as well. Theft from parked cars remains the most common property complaint in the 5th Precinct, which covers East Isles.

The precinct asks residents to lock vehicles, take valuables and the registration inside, and share doorbell or dash-camera footage that can help connect cases. Non-emergencies can be reported to 311; crimes in progress to 911.
