Minneapolis Police data recorded three incidents in Lowry Hill during the week of June 1, 2026: two vehicle-related reports and an assault.

A motor-vehicle theft or break-in was reported on the 1100 block of Summit Avenue on June 1. Two days earlier, on May 29, a similar vehicle report was logged on the 700 block of Vineland Place, and an assault was reported on the 1900 block of Humboldt Avenue South. Locations are published only at the block level.

Three crimes were reported in Lowry Hill the week of May 25, 2026 -- two involving vehicles and one robbery -- as Minneapolis closed in on 2,100 stolen vehicles for the year.

Vehicle prowls and thefts remain the steadiest complaint in the neighborhood. Since May 1, Minneapolis Police data shows 17 incidents in Lowry Hill, 10 of them vehicle-related, along with three assaults, two thefts and two burglaries. The 1800 block of Girard Avenue South and the 800 block of Mount Curve Avenue have each drawn repeated reports over the spring.
These are initial reports and may be reclassified or revised as cases are reviewed; anyone arrested or charged is presumed innocent until proven otherwise. The 5th Precinct, which covers Lowry Hill, asks residents to lock vehicles, take valuables inside, and share doorbell or dash-camera footage that can help connect cases.
