Lowry Hill Blotter: Week of April 6 — Thefts Top the Weekly Tally

The week opened with a theft by swindle reported on the 1100 block of Summit Avenue on April 6. A bike was reported stolen on the 800 block of Mount Curve Avenue on April 7, and a car was taken from the intersection of Logan Avenue South and Franklin Avenue West the same day. A second automobile theft was reported on the 1100 block of Summit Avenue on April 9. All counts come from Minneapolis Police incident data published through the city's open data portal.

Locations are block-level, as the city publishes them. These are initial reports and may be reclassified or revised as cases are reviewed; anyone arrested or charged is presumed innocent until proven otherwise.

Most of the week's reports were opportunistic. The 5th Precinct asks residents to bring deliveries in promptly, register bikes, lock vehicles, and report what they see, since patterns surface only when neighbors file. Non-emergencies can be reported to 311; crimes in progress to 911.
