Lowry Hill Blotter: Week of April 13 — Vehicle Break-Ins and Thefts Lead the Week
Minneapolis Police logged five incidents in Lowry Hill during the week of April 13, 2026, and three of them were vehicle-related, including two on a single block of Girard Avenue South.
On the 1800 block of Girard Avenue South, someone stripped parts from a vehicle (recorded April 14) and, two days later, broke into another car on the same block (April 16). A third vehicle break-in was reported on the 700 block of Ontario Avenue on April 17. The week's other reports were a theft on the 2000 block of Bryant Avenue South (April 18) and a residential burglary on the 3100 block of Nicollet Avenue (April 18).
