Lowry Hill Blotter: Week of May 11 — Vehicle Break-Ins and Thefts Lead the Week

Police logged six reports in Lowry Hill for the week of May 11, four of them involving vehicles. The 1800 block of Girard Avenue South drew three of the six reports on its own. The locations below are block-level as published by the city, and anyone arrested or charged is presumed innocent until proven otherwise.

The week's heaviest day was May 14 on the 1800 block of Girard Avenue South, where police recorded a residential burglary and a bike theft on the same block. Two days earlier, on May 12, the same block saw a theft from a motor vehicle, one of two vehicle prowls reported that day; the other was on the 1700 block of Irving Avenue South.

On May 13, police recorded a theft from a motor vehicle on the first block of Groveland Terrace and an automobile theft on the 2000 block of Fremont Avenue South.
